Jesus, God in the flesh, was killed. God could have stopped it, but didn't come to save. God came to rescue us. But then, a few days after He died, Jesus just got up. He left death, hopelessness, and the power of sin behind — not for Himself, but for you and me. Death and sin don't have to have the last word for this one reason: Jesus is alive!
