Walk Through The Bible 365 - June

DAY 10 OF 31

I Wait…

A famous line from the movie, The Terminal, by its main character Viktor Navorski is, "I wait." You see, Viktor was in a very trying situation and difficult circumstances. By most standards, the average person would crumble and falter. Today, in His Word, we can hear of the Psalmist's cry for his need of mercy, forgiveness, and redemption. We find ourselves in times like this. What do we do when we wait? We put our hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing in love and with him is full redemption. We cry out and He will do the rest.

Heavenly Father, this is the day You have made: help me to rejoice and be glad in it. In moments of stress and unbearable times, help me to wait upon you for strength, grace, and redemption. It is You that gives me every need for inner peace, strength, and hope. May You be glorified in these moments of despair. Thank you for being my Lord of all. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
