When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

Isaiah 43:2 

Heavenly Father, 

I pray for my sisters who are passing through the water and who feel as if they’re being swept away by the rivers. As women, it’s so easy to take the weight on our shoulders—wife, mom, career, volunteering, taxi driver, maid, chef, accountant, and all the other tasks we take on. And it’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel as if the water is rising above neck level. It’s easy to feel separated during these times, especially from your spouse, but that’s what the enemy wants. I pray that we realize we have a Savior through every storm, and that all we have to do is lay our earthly burdens at his feet. I pray for peace and relief as we relinquish control.
