MILLION LITTLE MIRACLES
All my life I’ve been carried by grace
Don’t ask me how cause I can’t explain
It's nothing short of a miracle I'm here
Did you know you are a miracle?
Everything from the way you look to the things you enjoy and the people in your life were chosen by God. Everyday miracles are happening around us all the time.
The entire creation and existence of the world are miracles. (Genesis 1)
God spoke a word into the void and the earth came to be. (Genesis 1:2-3).
The human body was miraculously formed from the dust of the ground. (Genesis 2:7).
Each day that we breathe in and out, we can create because we're made in the image of our Creator.
Your life may not always look or feel like a miracle, but it is.
In the mountaintop moments and our lowest valleys, we can find evidence of the miracles of God.
We can also worship and thank God for the miracle of discomfort. Even there we can trust that God still loves and cares for us, and He will see us through.
Finally, the greatest miracle of all is salvation and the Lord's faithful presence in our lives.
If we would only take inventory more often of all the good things in our lives, we would be moved to worship. In fact, our gratitude is a form of worship.
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,” - Hebrews 12:28
Today, ask God to give you a heart of gratitude for who He is and what He has done.
Thank the Lord for the blessings that are evident and easy to recognize in your life.
Then, thank Him for the times that He has led you through the valley, because He has done miracles there, too.
Lord, thank you that we don’t always have to trust in what we have or who we have. Because no matter what, your goodness and mercy are following us all the days of our lives.
