Stepping Out of Despairნიმუში

Listening To God: Elijah
Despair can creep in right after a major victory. Elijah reached a low point in a cave and asked God to take his life. God provided an angel who instructed Elijah to eat and sleep. God provides for our physical needs and that is part of the healing process. God spoke to Elijah, not in the wind, earthquake, or fire; God’s voice came in a gentle whisper. God reminded Elijah that there are 7,000 others who are still serving Him, and Elisha is ready to be mentored. Elijah took his eyes off of himself, left the pity party, and stepped out of despair.

About this Plan

Despair can creep in right after a major victory, after we are mistreated or betrayed by those closest to us, or if we are running out of patience for something we're excited about. In this series, we'll cover such topics and how to step out of that despair by connecting with Jesus.
