Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample

Most of us have been in lockdown for several months. That pretty much means we have been stuck in the house 24/7 with our family/relatives/roommates/etc. with no breaks in between. It also means that most of us might be finding that confined spaces are probably bringing out the worst in us. This is another battle we are fighting – a battle for peace in our homes, for harmony and oneness among family members, for gentleness and kindness with our children, against the spirit that causes misunderstandings, grievances, annoyances, petty fights, and disharmony. The devil wants our homes to be war zones where everyone is angry and upset. But we have the authority to put him to flight. So let us not allow him to win this battle. Let us fight for peace, stand strong and endure with God’s power and grace, extending love and encouragement to everyone in our home right now.

Pray for:

• The spirit of disunity to be bound in the name of Jesus.

• Resolution of fights and anger between family members living together in lockdown.

• Love and peace to flood our homes.
