Good Friday

DAY 4 OF 4

Good Friday is about good news being shared and today we want to focus on those who are maybe a little discouraged right now. Perhaps they are weary or depressed.

The good news is that God isn’t looking for perfect people. He’s not wanting people who have it all together and think they don’t need Him. In fact, He’s looking for broken people, for people humble enough to know they need help.

In Matthew 11, Jesus tells us that if you are weary or burdened to come to Him. Come to Him and He will give you rest. He longs to give us rest and to comfort us in trying times because He’s a good Father.

All of us came out of the last season a little beat up. Whether from economic uncertainty or job changes or a global pandemic, most of us were feeling sad and discouraged. But God loves to meet people in their pain.

This week, reach out to people in your life who are maybe hurting right now. Don’t worry about the right words, sometimes all people need is just someone who cares. Tell them you love them and that you are praying for them and that God is for them.

Good Friday is focused on the good news of Jesus and how it must be shared. I hope you are encouraged to share your faith with those in your world today. Let’s get after it together!

Day 3

About this Plan

Good Friday

Good Friday is a day of reflection for followers of Jesus to remember His sacrificial death. The story of Jesus’s arrest, execution, and resurrection is one of good news! It displays the good news of the love that God has for humanity. And it needs to be shared! In this 4-day Bible plan by Nick Hall, you will discover how you can share this news with your loved ones.
