C. S. Lewis on Death & ResurrectionSample
Application Thoughts
Mankind puts to death its Creator. This is the greatest tragedy of all time. But hidden in the folds of this tragedy was the greatest victory to have ever been won - the victory over sin and death. The devil used Judas to betray Jesus and hand Him over to be killed. But all Jesus had to say to His betrayer was, "What you are about to do, do quickly."
Whatever our motives for our actions, they do not derail God's work in the world. They do not affect His plans and purposes. But they certainly affect us.
Will you pray and ask God to search your heart?
Will you ask Him to reveal to you, the motives behind the things you do - both good and bad?
Are your actions to advance the Kingdom of God or are they to advance yourself?
