Prayer: Time With GodSample

How would you rate the level of trust you have in God? Would you say you do a pretty good job trusting him with everything in your life, or are there things in your life that you struggle to trust him with? If I’m honest, there have been times in my life when I struggled to trust him, especially when things are challenging. This passage reminds us that trusting in God is so important, especially when we begin asking God for help with different situations that we face. When we talk to God, the best place for us to be is waiting patiently for his response. Over the next ten days, we want to challenge you to take some time to start a conversation with God. Begin by telling God what is on your heart and remember prayer is simply you talking to him. You don’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing in the wrong way. You can just talk to him. 

Challenge:  Today, we challenge you to commit to spending time every day for the next ten days talking to God. Start by sharing your day with him. Take time to thank him for all he has done for you and then share any request you have for him. Remember to trust that God has a plan for your life and that his timing is always perfect.
