Everyday Life in Revelation: Part 4 the SealsSample

As we come to the fifth seal being opened, we see not what is happening on earth during this time; rather, we view the goings on in heaven. John views Christians who have died because they were faithful to King Jesus. They paid the ultimate price for following Christ. They are in heaven waiting for the resurrection of their bodies. 

The martyrs cry out for justice. Their murders show a great cosmic injustice. God notes this injustice and will not remain silent toward those who committed these atrocities forever. God pays attention to what happens to His people, and He will repay it in full. 

Scripture is filled with the righteous crying to God for vindication. When we suffer for our faithfulness to Christ, it may seem as if the Lord is slow to speak. However, all is according to plan, and His people who suffer play an important part in His eternal purposes. King Jesus will not overlook it! Have confidence today, knowing the Jesus knows what is happening in your life, and He cares.
