Jesus: The Death KillerSample

Jesus: The Death Killer

DAY 2 OF 6

Deep down, we all know death is inevitable. A Pulitzer Prize winner facing pancreatic cancer once said, "Everybody has got to die, but I have always believed an exception would be made in my case."

There are no exceptions. So where is our hope? In the Death Killer.

The Death Killer. He's incredible. The Death Killer faced death on our behalf.

I don't want to trust a God who hasn’t experienced what I experience. This is why we can trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He came down from heaven and He became man, so that He could face death. He passed the natural ability test. His credibility with me has already gone up.

Then the Death Killer did face death. For me and for you. He passed the personal experience test.

If he had stayed dead, there would be no hope for us. But the Death Killer not only faced death for you, He conquered death for you. He passed the ultimate victory test.

Eyewitnesses in the hundreds saw Him alive. They saw Him before He died. They saw Him after He resurrected physically. He appeared to them. He ate with them. He interacted with them. And He let them touch Him.

He rose from the dead. And so in accomplishing the only recorded and verifiable self-resurrection in all of history and geography, Jesus proved Himself to be the Death Killer.

Day 1Day 3

About this Plan

Jesus: The Death Killer
