Disciple-making is an invitation for others to follow you as you follow Christ.
The practice of raising up disciples is less about teaching and more about modeling “the outworking in life of the deeper realities of the Spirit,” writes Coleman.
Disciple-makers are living portraits of the way of Jesus. This is especially evident in the apostle Paul’s approach to disciple-making as seen in 1 Thessalonians 1 and 2. His heart for his disciples is evident in how he prayed for them and nurtured them at times as a mother and at other times as a father. He cared for them, and in so doing he modeled for them what making disciples looks like.
About this Plan
Every believer is called to make disciples.
