The Bible says that on that day when Jesus rode into the city of Jerusalem on a donkey, the people of the city erupted with praise. They may not have known it at the time, but by worshipping Jesus that day they were actually fulfilling a prophecy that was written hundreds of years before. As the people cheered and praised God, there were some religious people who were angry. They were mad when they saw the crowds worshipping Jesus. Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

Jesus said to them, “I tell you,” He replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” King Jesus is so worthy to be praised that if people don’t worship Him, the rocks themselves will cry out in worship. 

Palm Sunday reminds us that we can worship Jesus!
