DAY 27 OF 35

Written by Beatriz, age 16, from Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

Have you ever gotten such good news that your body couldn’t contain it? Maybe when you made the varsity team, you got a good grade on your test, or you got invited to the prom you started screaming, crying or dancing without even thinking about it. It’s natural for our bodies to respond to good news, but let’s think about it: what would it look like if we channeled that same energy and enthusiasm into praising and talking about God? He has given us the greatest gift and best news of our lives, yet we don’t always take the time to thank Him. Trust me, I get that sometimes you’re stressed with school, busy with sports, and feel like there are more fun things to do, but try to thank God for at least one good thing every day. When we spend time thanking Him and telling others about the good things He is doing in our lives, we are doing our part as all of creation points to how great He is.
