THE SACRIFICE OF PRAISE
The writer of Hebrews says that we too have to sever ourselves from the life of the world and we must be willing to bear the kind reproach Christ bore. A Christian can offer his continual praise and give thanks to God. Christ has offered the great sacrifice of atonement. Our sacrifices should be that of praising God, confessing God's name in public, doing works of mercy and sharing what we have with others. God is pleased with such sacrifices which is one of the marks of faith. Our sacrifices should not be the sacrifice of our lips or mere words but sacrifice of good deeds.
Dear God,
We thank you for your love and your great sacrifice of atonement. We thank you for all the blessings in our lives. Help us to freely share the blessings with those whose lives are restricted or crushed by the meanness of this world. Make us not only receivers but generous and unpretentious givers.
- Amen
“Above all the grace and the gifts that Christ gives to his beloved is that of overcoming self.”
- Francis of Assisi

About this Plan
My inspiration for this 30 days Devotional is from prolonged theological discourses on Justice. My burning desire is to see that the Church becomes catalyst to stop violence against the poor. I am also grateful to Organizations who work relentlessly to secure Justice for the poor.
