Joseph was the favorite son of Jacob (Israel) and he was the least favored amongst his brothers. Joseph was a young seventeen year old of vision and purpose but out of his youth discussed fruition amongst those whom rebuked, despised and envied him. Joseph’s brothers devised a plan to kill him but instead sold Joseph into slavery.  Years passed, Joseph thrived in challenging circumstances and God brought the proclaimed visions and purpose Joseph shared with his brothers and father to fruition when he was appointed ruler over Egypt at age thirty.  We’ve all experienced challenges in our relationships with family members. It is important to recognize fruitless emotions and feelings and begin seeking God for healing and restoration.  Jealousy, envy and hatred are real and attempted tools used by Satan to get children of God off of the plan God has for their lives.

Love is essential for relationships and the healing of relational bonds. Children of covenant must be wise in how they treat those they proclaim to love because certain relational bonds are directly linked to one’s destiny some type of way, only God is aware of the master plan. Despite Joseph being thrown in a pit, sold into slavery by his brothers, stripped of a treasured garment by his father, it did not interfere with God’s plan to save the very ones who meant him harm. Similarly, despite how individuals tried to throw you in a pit of despair, sold you out and stripped you of your reputation, visions, goals, distinctiveness and good character this will not interfere with God’s plan for your life, because what they meant for evil God is working it out for your good! God healed the bonds between Joseph and his brothers and he can heal the bonds in your life when you surrender all to him. God Comes Through in Healing You!
