21 Days of Peace

DAY 18 OF 21

ACT

Step outside of your world and spend some time with someone who comes from a different background or culture than you. Schedule a phone call, or share a meal if you can. Ask them about their home, their family, and their story. You may be surprised at how easy it is to relate to one another. The more common ground you can find with someone different than you, and the more you discover your shared humanity, the bigger your heart will expand, and desire shalom for all people.

Who might you share a meal or a phone call with? Spend a few minutes praying for that person then reach out to them about meeting up.

About this Plan

21 Days of Peace

It’s easy to become overwhelmed by feelings of fear, scarcity, and helplessness. In this 21-day series from World Relief, you’re invited to slow down, meet with God and uncover what it means to practice real peace in your everyday life and be a peacemaker in an often divided world. Each week, you’ll meditate on a single passage of scripture and engage with God through prayer, journaling, and intentional action.
