DAY 1 OF 6

Dr. Calvin Cage

National Baptist Convention, USA

The world is waiting for the Church to rise and to be what God created her to be. That will not happen until the ecclesia, the called-out believers of Christ can move across religious and racial lines. Then, the church's righteousness and the redeeming King, Jesus himself, will come back for the Church as we know it.

I believe the Church has really missed a tremendous opportunity to be a forerunner. To bring healing to our world. Whether you are in India, dealing with the cast system. Whether you are in the Middle East and you are dealing with Iran-Iraq, Israel-Palestine. Whether you are on the continent of Africa and the division between the Islamic religion and Christianity. If we would come together in the spirit of love and the spirit of Christ, I believe we could save the world.

God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that “he who would believe” - so he is talking to believers, not unbelievers. And those of us who are saved, who love God, know that there’s no east or west, there’s no male or female, there’s no Jew or Greek. We are all the same; we are cut from the same cloth, the same creator crafted us, and we have the same blood, and we breathe the same breath.

The church cannot call for unity when we are separate and segregated ourselves. And that’s why I believe that the Church should rise in this season. Watch the video for the full interview.

Once you watch the video and read the bible references, spend time with the Lord reflecting on the following:

·  What is the Church’s role when it comes to the problems in our world?

·  Is that role able to be fulfilled without the unity of the church?

Day 2

About this Plan

ONE

The time has come to tear down the walls that have separated us and the religious spirit that has bound us. Racial Reconciliation and unity are possible in our day. The world is waiting for the Church to rise up and to be what God created her to be. This devotional will help you see the Church, and its divine purpose, through the eyes of Christ.
