Love God Greatly: Shame BreakerSample

Believe it or not, there is beauty in our brokenness. Even in our failure there is beauty to be found because God saves. He takes us and slowly transforms us, so little by little, we look like our Savior. As He restores us, He works through us, so His power is displayed. We can do hard things because He gives us His strength; we can experience peace in the midst of trouble because He gives us His peace. Everything we lack, He provides. 

We may be broken, but we are not lost. We are loved and healed; we are cared for and changed. Our brokenness is sometimes overwhelming, but God is greater, and He can redeem our brokenness. 

Carrying around the death of Christ means living with the constant reminder of what He has done for us. He lives in us through the Holy Spirit, giving us the same victory over sin and death that He exercised when God raised Him from the dead. His life and power is at work in us every day—in every circumstance. 

Lord, I am amazed at Your love for the broken. You have gone through great lengths to save me and now You are working to restore Your image in me. Help me to be thankful for my brokenness and to lean on You for all I need. Amen.
