A New CreatureSample
When I Was A Child.
“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” 1 Corinthians 13:11 KJV
Put away childish things. Put away the former man. Choose to grow in Christ. Put away childish behavior. Put away childish thinking. Put away immature habits. Put away old things. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior — the old patterns are demolished. Choose to set a new pattern. Choose to established a new generational blueprint.
1 Corinthians 13:11 NIV declares, “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.” Put your childhood behind you. Put the games, gimmicks, and immaturity of the past behind you. Put off the former man and put on the ways of Christ.
The Message Bible expounds on 1 Corinthians 13:11 MSG in the following manner, “When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.” Put your “infant” ways behind you and choose to surrender to Christ.
