DAY 16 OF 19

One in A Million

Psalm 119:73

Your hands made me and formed me; give me understanding to learn Your commands.

God had finally talked to Job. He started with the fact that He created some creatures to teach different kinds of lessons. One of them is the ostrich. An ostrich is a bird with wings, but it cannot fly. At a glance, this is so ironic because birds are always related to their ability to fly.

There is one special thing that an ostrich has that other birds do not have. Verse 18 says that they can run like the wind! When most birds find their glory in flying, the ostrich finds its glory in the power of its legs to run fast like the wind.

An ostrich is one in a million. It is very unique. It can even run faster than the horses in the battle.

Everyone is unique. Be happy and rejoice that God has made you, you! Each of us has our strengths and weakness. Use your strength to glorify Him and let God use your weakness to demonstrate His power in you.

Prayer

Dear God, I am blessed to be Your masterpiece. I am happy to be me. Let me always shine Your glory through my life. Amen.
