Christmas in 3 Actsნიმუში

Experience
Many of us are having to wear masks at the moment. They can prove to be a helpful visual aid for us too. If you have an old disposable one then why not take some time to write on it.
On the outside, write down words, phrases, and attitudes that reflect the positive and purposeful things you want to say and live. Things that reflect the love of Jesus. (v32)
Then view the inside as a guard. A confession even. Write down words that reflect attitudes, prejudices, and words that you are tempted to use. Ask God to help you not speak these things (v29 / v31).
Place this in your Bible or hang it up as a prompt for your actions this week.
Practice
Mission begins with listening. To God and to others.
Determine to be an active listener this week. What do you hear for the first time?
Question
Are your words and actions in sync with each other?
Prayer
I choose to reject my self-centred tendencies and choose others-centred actions.

About this Plan

In this Advent Infinitum Series, we will be using the themes of Tragedy, Comedy and Fairytale. They will act as doorways into a deeper understanding of surrender, generosity, and mission. Each theme lasts 7 days. The first day will be an introduction. Days 2 to 6 will give you a reading, an experience, a practice, a question, and a prayer. Day 7 is Sabbath, consolidation, review, and recollection.
