What Defines You?

Seasons come with joys and challenges, both often looking different than we expect. 

The challenges can, of course, be especially difficult. Disappointments can shock and shame us, testing our resolve and pushing our belief system to the brink of collapse.

But here’s the good news: The difficulty doesn’t have to define you. The shame and pain don’t have to break you. The “no” doesn’t have to stop you. Rather, the strength of overcoming it can. 

Romans 8:28 gives us this promise, And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (NLT).

Time doesn’t heal all wounds. But time can show us God’s hand at work, even in the darkest of circumstances. And if we’re willing to embrace the process, no matter how hard, I believe it is then we will find true satisfaction and become who God created us to be.
