A Jolt of JoySample

Not just a personality trait, joy is always the gift of His dear presence. When you ask Jesus to come into your heart and to be Lord of your life, the joy of heaven reaches down and embraces you every day of your life. Joy is presence-driven not circumstantially bought or delivered. You can have joy when your life is falling apart because He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. Joy should never come and go like money or the weather! Joy is a constant all of our days because He is constant in His presence. There is nothing that you can do, no words that you can say, that would remove you from His presence. There is no place that you can go that would deny you His constant companionship and closeness. He is omnipresent which means that He is everywhere and that includes the richness of knowing that He is always with you ... always at your side. There is not one solitary day of your life that He was not with you, comforting you and desiring intimacy with you. Joy is knowing that He is with you ... on good days and on horrible days... in times of thanksgiving and on days of utter despair. The joy of His presence envelopes you and protects you. Rest today knowing that He is good and that He is with you. There is no greater joy than that!
