DAY 2 OF 3

THE MOUNTAIN OF GOD THAT RISES HIGH

The Lord is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. (Psalms 113:4)

Micah did not only give a report to the Lord about the wickedness of the people of Israel. Because of that wickedness, God could have lifted His protection from His people and punished them. Micah said that God would also come down and declare His power to save His people from every threat of the enemy.

The God whom we worship is God, the loving Father. He does not approve of evil deeds, but in His love, God gives His people the opportunity to turn to Him. God wants His people to forsake evil deeds and choose righteousness.

God will do great things in the midst of us, His people, just as He used to do wonderful things among His people. His power does not change yesterday, today, and forever. He is God who overcomes everything and is with us in our most difficult times. Lasting difficulties doesn’t mean that God does not see us or care about our situation or struggles. However he cares more about our repentance and restoration of our spiritual lives and character. He wants us to want Him.

There are many things that are towering high in this world, such as the achievements and the greatness of the people of this world. Everything may seem extraordinary and amazing; we might even be jealous of others' achievements and blessings. However, we should immediately turn our eyes to God‘s deeds in the bible. Is there anything happening right now as great as the sea that was torn apart and could be crossed over by people? Is there an event when God provided for His people in the desert for forty years?

May all of us experience inner healing before physical restoration as nothing is impossible for the Lord.
