What Does The Bible Say About Grief And Sorrow?Sample
Sorrow and grief will be no more in God’s future.
The last book of the Bible gives us a glimpse of the future God has in store for His children — an eternal future without grief and sorrow! This is possible because Jesus Christ has defeated Satan, and has borne God’s wrath for our sins. So, when sin is no more and the punishment for sin has been borne, its consequences will no longer exist either. They will “pass away.” Everything will be restored to the perfection of God’s initial creation. It will be “very good” again. Or even better than it has ever been, since God will dwell with man. Think about that!
Living eternally in God’s presence leaves no room for sorrow and grief. In His presence there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
The only ‘prerequisite’ for entering this glorious future is putting your trust in Jesus as your Lord, and asking Him to forgive your sins. “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

About this Plan
There is a lot of grief and sorrow in the world. This is all a result of human sin, and we are facing the consequences every day. The Bible does not play that down. But it also shows us how it is possible to rejoice in the midst of sorrow, and how God will ultimately create a new earth where grief and sorrow will be no more.
