Four Gifts of Christmas

DAY 4 OF 4

 Worship - the Lover’s Gift

Jesus was heralded by angels, loved by Mary, protected by Joseph, and worshiped by Magi.

Imagine getting to worship the Everlasting King, the Mighty Warrior, the Wonderful Counselor, the Prince of Peace.

What would you do? What would you bring? How would you act?

When the Magi came face to face with the Lover of their souls, they offered their gift of worship directly to Jesus.

Jesus allows you to do the same. By the power of His death and resurrection, He invites you to die with Him and be reborn so that you can boldly enter the throne room of Heaven to worship Him directly and receive His grace.

God so loved you that He gave Jesus and if you believe in Him, if you proclaim Him as King, you will not perish but have eternal life through the power of the Holy Spirit.  There is no greater love than laying down one’s life for his friends - and that’s what Jesus did for you.

Our only proper response is to:

  • Submit to the Everlasting King
  • Believe in the Wonderful Counselor
  • Trust in our Mighty God
  • Worship the Prince of Peace
Glorious now behold Him arise,
King, and God, and Sacrifice;
Heav’n sings Hallelujah:
Hallelujah the earth replies.
