NKJV 365 Day Reading PlanSample
Have you noticed that the Gospels usually describe the apostles in pairs? Peter and Andrew, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew. Jesus tended to send His men out in pairs since it is easier and safer for people serving the Lord to travel and work together. While one spoke, the other could pray. Two are better than one (Eccl. 4:9). They also kept each other accountable. This is one reason why the devil wants to isolate us. When we’re alone, we’re like the stray wildebeest that always seems to get picked off by the hungry predator. To whom are you accountable?
