The Beauty of Restoration

DAY 3 OF 3

Weak and Drained but restored

He restores my soul.

Psalm 23:3

Psalm 23 is an inspiration to me. I go to this Psalm whenever I lack something when I need strength. This is so personal to me, for God’s care is like the Good Shepherd, for He takes me to lush pastures, He leads me to refreshing water, He restores my strength, He leads in the paths of righteousness, He is with me, He comforts me, He reassures me and He prepares a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.

This is the beauty of restoration, that when we are weak, drained, weary, God restores our soul. God alone can do that.

Imagine a sheep that has been lost. The sheep eats the dry grass, drinks dirty water, is afraid of his life when the wild beasts attack him, probably got his leg stuck on barbed wire, he is faint, wounded, weak and drained. Who can restore this sheep? Jesus, the Good Shepherd can. He alone will.

So, how does God restore a weak, and drained soul?

His divine touch. That one touch restores our soul from stormy conditions. He will not allow you to perish. God will come after you. You are important to Him. You are special to Him. Sometimes His special rod corrects you but it’s His amazing grace that brings you back home.

Give them all to Jesus, your past, present, and the future. Give to Him the things that annoy you, the circumstances that drain you, and people that burden you.

“Now know this truth, God created you, so, how long does it take for him to restore you?”

God will save you. Don’t doubt His power of restoration. Believe that Jesus is able to restore your weak and drained soul. No evil schemes shall come near you when you walk with Jesus in this process of restoration.

What is your testimony of God restoring your soul?
Share your story with someone who needs to hear it.

Say this prayer in faith,

Dear Father,
I’m worn out. But I know you will give me strength. I believe that you will restore me and lead me in the paths of righteousness. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Take away:
Know this truth, God created you, so, how long does it take for him to restore you?
