Hallelujahs And Hiccups

DAY 12 OF 14

Failing Forward

Many times, we place expectations on ourselves of what we could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve done for God if we really had our act together. Failing is difficult but failing forward simply means you are still moving ahead and not remaining still or stagnant. What that means is that there is always a lesson to be learned, and failure is one of our greatest teachers. When you make a mistake or fall short of a goal, you haven’t failed if you’ve learned something from it. The faster and harder you fail, the less afraid you become because you have come out on the other side of it stronger and better equipped. Stay in the moment enough to learn from your failures and keep moving forward.

Prayer: God help me bounce back from my setbacks and build the confidence I need to overcome my fear of failure. In Jesus’ name, Amen
