Think Well, Live Well

DAY 6 OF 6

Think and Live up to Your Calling and Purpose

How do I know God called me?

This is a question many of us have probably asked ourselves at one time or another.

The Bible says that God saved us and called us. You can think of it as a combo, like a hamburger and fries. If they didn't come together, they wouldn't make sense.

The moment we receive salvation, we also receive our calling. How can you think of the possibility of God saving you without calling you? Does God make things incomplete? Of course not!

It is precisely because we are called to live a holy life that we must think and live at the level of our purpose. As for me, I have decided to apply this principle to my life, and that is why I am especially careful in situations where I know that my sinful nature might lead me to make mistakes.

If you would allow me to give you some advice, I would tell you not to position yourself in a place where temptation can enter your life. Do not allow your eyes to see things that they should not see, things that can lead you to think incorrectly.

Because thinking wrong will lead you to act the same way, and that can affect not only you, but your whole environment and the people who trust you. It's important to take seriously the call, responsibility and privilege to serve that God has given us.

Do not position yourself to lose, believing that temptation will not be able to enter your life.

I hope that every decision you make is in line with your thoughts about your calling and purpose. Allow a metamorphosis to take place in your mind. You may start small, but as God's word renews your mind, you will break the shell that limits you and spread your wings to fly toward what God has prepared for you.

Do you want to change your family? Change your thinking first. Start by thinking well of them and let God do the rest.

Do you want to change your country? Change your mind first. Stop thinking at a human level and think like a child of God.

Start believing that God's goodness and love will follow you every day of your life. You're not in this world just to use up air. God saved you, called you, and wants to raise the standard of your life, but it all starts with the renewal of your mind! So, think well, live well.
