God Is My Father

DAY 4 OF 10

I am accepted and loved, a child of God above.

When did God decide He wanted to adopt you into His family? Was it when you asked Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your life? No. Before that. Was it the first time you learned about Jesus? No—even before that! Was it when you were born? Nope again! God decided He wanted to adopt you before you were born, before your mom was born, and even before anybody was born! That’s how much He loves you!

Play Sticky Note Mix-Up to help you remember Ephesians 1:5, and watch the Verse Motions video so you can share it with your friends!

Sticky Note Mix-Up

  1. Ask if you can have some sticky notes and a pencil.
  2. Write each word from Ephesians 1:5 on sticky notes. Only put one word on each sticky note.
  3. Mix up the sticky notes and try to put the words back in order.

Talk It Over: How does God show He loves and accepts you?

About this Plan

God Is My Father

Some kids know their earthly dad. Some don’t. But we can all get to know the best Dad—God, our heavenly Father! For Parents: Your child will have a deeper understanding of each day’s reading and questions if you complete this plan with them. This plan includes several games to play for verse memorization. You may want to supervise use of materials.
