A Life of Worship Is Meant to Be Shared

So far, you’ve learned that worshiping God is about using your whole body, mind, and soul to love God. You’ve learned that your personal conversations with God can change your life into one that can’t stop worshiping Him. You’ve also learned that worship is more than just singing songs to God.

You know something else that’s interesting about the life of worship? It’s better when it’s lived out in community. 

God asked us to be faithful to come together and worship Him. And guess what? Scientists are beginning to discover the ways that coming together in a group to worship God together affects your brain—for the better. You know that worship isn’t only singing songs to God. But it sure is an amazing part of the life of worship! Watch this video for more on that. 

Amazing! It seems like science is always proving how God’s way of living is actually good for you! God really is more loving than anyone can understand. What a great reason to live your life worshiping Him! 

Ask yourself: What might it be like if I joined in and worshiped God in singing to Him with my all of my heart, mind, and strength together with the Church each week? 

Challenge yourself: Whenever the next time is that your church’s doors are open, do everything you can to get there. And if you can’t get there, ask a parent if you can attend an online church, maybe one like www.live.life.church this week. Do what you can to be part of the people who gather together regularly to worship God! See if you can join a church worship gathering every week for a whole month. Then, go for two months! Then, well, there’s no stopping you!

Pray: God, thank You for the way You love and bless me. Even when I’m trying to be the one who is blessing You with my honest worship, You’re still working in my heart and are blessing me right back. That’s amazing. And I worship You for it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
