Love God Greatly: Fear & AnxietySample
Proverbs 16:3 reminds us to commit our work to the Lord. When we intentionally dedicate everything we do to Him, we live more intentionally. When we are committed to the Lord, He establishes our plans. Not our exact plans necessarily, but He allows us to witness the incredible ways He is working and moving in our lives.
God will help us prioritize our lives and plan our steps. We simply have to allow Him to help us. By spending time with Him each day, we show God that our relationship with Him matters. When we allow ourselves to be still in prayer and read His Word, we are able to gain wisdom to make prudent decisions.
How can re-prioritizing your schedule to place your relationship with God first help you combat anxiety? The Lord wants us to live a stress-free life and is here to help us place our priorities and perspectives in order.
Father God, thank You for loving me so much that You want to spend time with me. Thank You that You desire what is best for me. I pray that You will help me remember You first. Forgive me for the times when I place other things ahead of You. Help me commit everything I do to You so I may honor You in all I do. Amen.
