Stories Of The Kingdom (Primary Age)

DAY 8 OF 8

A Story About a Farmer

WRAP UP

This is a story about seed falling on four different types of ground. Jesus was using this story to explain the different reactions people have to hearing the Good News about the kingdom. The good soil produced 100 or 60 or 30 times more than what was planted! In this story Jesus is telling us that each one of us can be good soil as well. All we need to do is hear and understand the Good News and follow Jesus! Then we will be like the good soil and do great things for God!

Questions

  1. Can you name the four different type of ground the seed fell on?
  2. Which soil would you like to be? Why?
  3. What have you learnt from today’s story?

Day 7

About this Plan

Stories Of The Kingdom (Primary Age)

Jesus would often tell short stories called parables when He was speaking to people. These parables would be used by Jesus to teach about a particular aspect of God and His Kingdom, inviting and challenging His listeners to think more deeply about their lives. Jesus’ parables have a lot to teach us today as well! Watch the fun videos and enjoy learning more about God! (Bible study ages 9-12)
