Motivation For The Great Commissionნიმუში

Day 6: Let the Spirit Be Your Guide
Our faithfulness as disciple-makers depends upon the equipping Spirit of God who is available to us every moment of the day.
Jesus promised us this Spirit in His final words before ascending to heaven: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8, NIV).
In seeking to be used of God as Jesus’ disciple-makers, may we remain desperately dependent upon the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
About this Plan

Perhaps you’ve heard someone talk about the Great Commission to “disciple the nations” (see Matthew 28:18-20) this way: “Jesus had only one plan—His disciples—and if they didn’t do it, it wouldn’t get done!” One might respond, “I feel like it all depends on me!” Let’s look to God's Word to better understand how we might live in light of the Great Commission as disciplemakers and help others do the same!
