Above All Else, Pray

Regardless of whether you’re buying property or selling property, prayer has to remain a priority. For the Faith Driven Entrepreneur, putting God before all things is a must. He comes before every decision and all our profits.

So, as you think through ways to pray about the big decisions that make up your day-to-day business, what are the things that make you anxious? What makes you uncertain or hesitant? Those are the things you can take to God!

And you can know that He answers every prayer. He might not respond in the way we want to, or according to the timeline we desire, but He always hears us. When we’re worried, when we’re confident, and every stage in between. God listens.

Here’s a prayer to get you started...

Lord, you are the all-powerful, almighty God. Everything in heaven and earth belongs to you. It is your hand of providence that sustains me. Lord, you care about every concern in my life, including this need for capital. You tell me in the Scriptures not to be anxious about anything, but pray about everything with gratitude and trust. God, would you provide the funding for this project? Would your gracious hand be upon me as it was on Nehemiah when he sought resources from the king for his building project (Nehemiah 2)? Fill my heart with a confident expectation. I hand this concern over to you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
