DAY 21 OF 31

Grace is an undeserved gift

Martin Hangl (Switzerland)
Ski World Champion & 8x World Cup Podium in Super-G & GS

During my career, I put everything second to my success - even my health, family and my friends. Only after turning to God was I able to recognize how important the human being is as a whole. Today, relationships are now my first priority - especially my relationship to God, my wife, and children. I learned to straighten out my life’s priorities. To be valued and loved even without being on the top brought the joy back into my life. I am thankful to God for my sense of humor, my enthusiasm, and my zeal for life. I really want to give HIM all glory and strive for that which brings eternal value. The fact that I was solely saved by God’s grace continually fills me with thankfulness and joy.

My favorite Bible verse: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8

Action Step

God also wants to encounter YOU. Invite the Holy Spirit to read the bible passage with you and expect that he will speak to you. Trust that God will show you the steps you should take in your own life. Ask Him for strength and courage to follow his voice.
