Iron Sharpens Iron.

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs‬ ‭27:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Iron sharpens iron. Iron sharpening relationships are critical for your spiritual and natural growth and development. Let His Word strengthen you. Submit to Godly correction. Let the Word of God correct you. Let God redirect your course. Let Godly men and women correct your conduct. Submit to mature and Godly instruction. Let God soften, lead and direct your heart. Surrender and submit to Christ. 

Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The Word of God is sharper than iron. The Word of God is stronger than iron. The Word of God is stronger than any man-made principle, precept or concept. The Word of God is living and will never rust or wear out. You will never outgrow His Word. His Word is eternal. His Word is Sovereign. His Word is Everlasting. Submit to God’s Guidance, Instruction and Direction.

Submit to His Word. Let the Word of God build the framework of your life. Let the Word of God build the course of your life. Let His Word lead you. Let His Word guide you. Let His Word strengthen you. Let His Word sharpen you.

Iron sharpening relationships, counselors and advisors are critical — but they are not a substitute for God. Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Seek God first. Seek His Way of doing things. Seek His Counsel first. Seek God first and all these other things and relationships will be added unto you. 

Let God expand you. Let God increase you. Let God enlarge you. Let God multiply you — He is in charge of your increase. He is in charge of your promotion. He is in charge of your next level. “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.” Psalms‬ ‭75:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Promotion comes from God.
