Every Word, a Reader's 90-Day Guide to the Bibleნიმუში

- God approves us as righteous based only on our repentant faith in and acceptance of the work Jesus completed for us on the cross.
- Observe the way Paul argues a foundational Christian belief in Galatians. Following rules will not save us (Galatians 2:16). We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus; our salvation cannot be earned.
- Read carefully as James, Jesus’s half-brother, gives practical advice for Christian living and makes more than fifty calls for obedience. Give special attention to how he complements—not contradicts—Paul’s message in Galatians. Faith without works is dead (James 2:17). But works do not save us; rather, they illustrate a saving faith at work in one’s life. We are to live in obedience as a response to what Jesus has done for us.
- In Acts, follow Paul and his friends taking the gospel to Europe, toward “the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
