One of the great privileges of knowing Jesus, is being able to love Jesus. The Bible says we love because He first loved us. He demonstrated unselfish pure love to the world and now we are empowered to do the same.
The more we encounter the love of God, the easier it is to love Him back. His commitment to us enables us to pour out devotion and commitment to Him. What a beautiful way to teach us, by showing us first.
The song "I Will Follow You" is all about the commitment we make as Christians to a loving God because we have caught a glimpse of who He is, of His love for us, and now we are hooked. A life poured out following Jesus will be a fulfilled life and a life full of love.
