And The Gentiles Shall Come To Thy LightSample
Let His Light Shine Through You.
“No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.” Luke 8:16 (KJV)
Let God’s Light shine through you. Your God-given gifts, talents, and abilities were meant to reflect the Glory of God. Choose to redirect others back to Him. Your gifts come from God. Choose to shine and let your gifts bless others. Let your light shine in darkness. Let your light shine when there is no light. Choose to be light in dark places. Let your light shine so that others may see the Glory of God through you. Let your light shine in chaos. Choose not to worship your gifts — choose to worship the Giver of your gifts. You were created and designed to worship God.
Isaiah 14:12-16 (KJV) declares, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Don’t glorify your gifts. Don’t idolize your talents. Worship God and not your talent. Don’t block God’s Glory.
Don’t turn your gifts into gods. Learn from Lucifer’s fall. Satan wanted to block God’s Glory — when, in fact, he was created to reflect God’s Light and usher in God’s Glory. Satan wanted to be The Light. Satan wanted to be God. Satan wanted the Glory. He was not satisfied with his portion. He was not satisfied with his lane. Lucifer was created, by God, to reflect the Glory of God. Don’t block the Glory. Surrender to God. Stay in your lane and reflect the Glory. Let God shine through you.
You were created to reflect the Light of Christ in every area of your life. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 (KJV)
