Limitless Faith

DAY 3 OF 4

Feed Your Faith

Are you cruising through life with your faith tank on empty or full of faith fuel? In this passage, we find keys to living our lives with a full faith tank! There are two phrases that David shares in 1 Chronicles 16 that will propel your faith:

1.     “Remember His marvelous works which He has done.” (v. 12)

2.     “Remember His covenant forever.” (v. 15)

The first key to stepping out in faith is to remember how the Lord met you in past seasons. One of the biggest mistakes of the Israelites in the Old Testament was how they constantly forgot how the Lord had moved on their behalf. In Exodus 16, we see that the Israelites had just been set free from captivity in Egypt yet they were murmuring! Complaining and murmuring destroys faith.

Celebrating and remembering the goodness of God fuels faith. Take a moment right now and celebrate Jesus! Thank Him for His blood and body. Thank Him for the cross. Thank Him for the breath in your lungs. He is good and His mercy endures forever. Think on these things which are pure and lovely (Phil 4:8).

The second key to stepping out in faith is to remember His covenant! Take hold of the promises of God over your life and declare them until they come to pass. Prophetic words and promises from the Lord are never intended to be sat on a shelf. War with the words! Pray those promises. The plot of the enemy is to make you forget how the Lord made a way for you in the past and what the Lord has promised you for your future. Maintain a thankful heart, remember how He made a way, and declare His word over your future. Watch and see as faith increase in your life!
