Be Transformed.
Choose to be transformed by the Word of God. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Conform” is, ‘syschēmatizō’ (G4964) which means, “To conform one's self (i.e. one's mind and character) to another's pattern, (fashion one's self according to).” When you conform to the world, you’re choosing to entangle your soul in the world’s way of doing things. When you conform, you contort your ways, patterns, and lifestyle to the world’s way. When you conform, you’re choosing to settle beneath your God-given purpose. Choose to surrender to Christ and rise above the world’s way of doing things. Choose to let Christ transform your heart.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Transform” is, ‘metamorphoō’ (G3339) which means, “To change into another form, to transform, or to transfigure.” When you surrender to Christ, instantly, you are made new. When you are in Christ, He has given you the power and authority to put off the old man and to reflect the Heart and Character of Christ.
The old man is corrupt and full of sin. When you accept and walk new in Christ, He sets you free from the lusts and bondages of the past. Transformation is a choice. Conforming to the world’s way is a choice. It’s your choice. Make the decision. Choose Christ.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or if you have fallen away from Him, simply say this prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I repent of my sin. I turn to You. Father, I receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose just for me.
I believe that His Blood washes me and cleanses me from all unrighteousness. Father, in You, I am set free. Father, through the Blood of your Son, Jesus Christ my past is history and my future is bright.
Father, In You, I am made new. Father, in You, I am complete. Father, in You, I am made whole. Father, in You, I am restored. Father, I surrender every area of my life to You now and forever. In Jesus Name. Amen.
