“Actions speak louder than words.” You’ve heard that saying before, right? It may be an old and familiar saying, but there’s actually a lot of truth to it. 

We can talk a big game about the kind of person we want to be, but our actions show who we really are. We can say we’re a good friend, but when we treat our friends badly it indicates otherwise. We can say we value kindness, but when we use harsh words with people it reveals something about us. 

Instead of being people who say one thing and do another, let’s commit to being people who are known for having actions that are pure and right—actions that are pleasing to God. 

Make a list of things you want to be known for in your life. Then, focus on letting your actions really reflect one of those things this week.
