Endless Love: Intimacy With GodSample
Knowing and Being Known by God
Thus says the Lord: “Let not the one who is wise and skillful boast in his insight; let not the one who is mighty and powerful boast in his strength; let not the one who is rich boast in his [temporal satisfactions and earthly] abundance; But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth and that I delight in these things. I, the LORD, have spoken!
Through intimacy, a person experiences knowing and being known by another person. God doesn’t want us to just know about His Deity or law, but He wants us to know Him personally and intimately. It was this way from the beginning of creation with Adam and Eve as God walked and talked with them.
This knowledge of God is about the leading attributes that were spoken to Jeremiah: loving-kindness, justice and righteousness on the earth (Jeremiah 9:24). God wants us to know His loving-kindness personally and see it demonstrated in our lives. In life, you will face many trials and tribulations but amid it all God wants us to “Be Still and Know” that He is God (Psalms 46:10). In those moments we must proclaim stillness to take place in our souls and bring to remembrance how the God we know and serve has always made a way out of no way; how he delivers us from impossible situations and that His faithfulness has never failed us yet.
We can take note from the Apostle Paul as he wanted nothing more than to know His savior. He desired to not only know Jesus, but to know Him in the power of His resurrection and share in His sufferings even in the likeness of His death (Philippians 3:10).
God established a covenant with His people. He created in them the very heart and desire to know Him and be devoted to Him.
Prayer:
"Father God I need you in my life and want to continue to grow in you. Amen."

About this Plan
Join Antranetta Tillman as she dives into our prayer time and alone time with God. We often forget the importance of spending time with God and being spiritually intimate with Him. Spending time with God is more than going to church. You serve a God who desires a close and personal relationship with you.
