Dawn Is ComingSample
The True Dawn
Here’s good news to carry into whatever you’re facing today: God isn’t afraid of your night terrors. Not in the slightest. In fact, it’s your night terrors that are afraid of your God. Because while He’s the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3) we can also be confident He’s the God of all power. Not once has He called for backup, not once has He lost a fight. Darkness may bellow for the final word but don’t be fooled. It trembles in panic at His voice and scatters at His command.
When we find our hearts fearing the darkness, we’ve forgotten who is truly seated on the throne — the King of Glory. The Light of the World. The Prince of Peace. The Lord of Heavenly Hosts. Our misplaced fear of the shadows is overcome when we turn from staring at our doomed opponent and face the Light, the True Dawn. Set your focus on Jesus. Let worship mark your life. Surrender yourself to Him. In the sunshine and in the shadows face the Dawn. You can rest assured He’ll sort the rest out.
