If We Confess Our Sins.Sample

If We Confess Our Sins.

DAY 1 OF 3

Confess Our Sins.

According to Strong’s Concordance the Greek word for “Confess” is, ‘homologeō’ (G3670) which means, “not to deny, to declare, to confess, i.e. to admit or declare one's self guilty of what one is accused of.”

When you declare or confess your sin or wrongdoing to Christ, He is just and faithful to forgive you freely. When your heart is in a position to confess your sin, you are declaring to God that you understand your wrongdoing and that you need and want His forgiveness.

Pride will deceive you. Pride will cause you to think that nothing is wrong. Pride will destroy your character. Pride will sabotage your Destiny. Pride will cause you to stumble and go into error. Surrender your heart to Christ and confess your sin to Him. Choose to release the guilt of the past and move forward in Him.

Prayer:

Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sin. Father, I receive your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior. Father, forgive me of my sin. Father, I surrender my heart to You. Lord, wash me over again. Father, I surrender my life to You now and forever. In Jesus Name. Amen.
