The Wise Woman Enjoys Part OneSample

Dear friends, welcome to Summer with the Help Club!

Ah, summer! I spend most of the year longing for summertime. It is by far my favorite time of year.

If motherhood were a season, I think it would be summer. Just like the flowers blooming around us, we are growing and establishing ourselves. As we continue to grow and mature ourselves, we are charged with nurturing the new life that comes from us.

While I know this season will pass too quickly, I also know there will come a hot July day when there is work to do in the sun and no cloud or breeze in sight. Then I will wish for the peaceful cool of fall;  I suspect I’m not the only one. I pray God will grant us wisdom to see how precious and fleeting this season is, that He will bless us with the respite we need to have joy as well as persistence through the dog days of summer.

I pray that each one of you will grow in your faith while doing these studies, praying, and living them out. I pray you will cherish your families and make many wonderful memories this summer!
