Your Love Lights the Way (Alicia Simila)

There is something profoundly powerful and transformative about our own revelation of God’s love for us. As we read the Word of God it becomes increasingly evident the infinite value God places on relationship. We are created for relationship-- it's written in our DNA and planted deep within our hearts. Weaving its way through the Word we find that God’s love for humanity is the theme of His story.

God put His love on display by sacrificing His son on the cross and trading one life for many. To revel in the miracle of this undeserved gift of God’s love for us, is to bring glory to His name. For God did not turn from us in our darkest hour, instead He chose to send us the Light of the world to illuminate our path and lead us back into His presence.

In Ephesians 3:18, Paul writes, “May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.” As we hold onto God and allow His love to find home in our heart, we can be assured that God is right beside us and will never leave us. His presence is irreplaceable, His power is incomparable and His love is inseparable. His love lights the way.
